Sima Jo American, b. 1996

Sima Jo is an American figure painter based in Thousand Oaks, California. A 2019 graduate of the Laguna College of Art and Design, she creates impressionistic oil paintings rooted in subconscious exploration, often without photo references. Her work examines the fluidity of energy, emotional states, and the ways we adapt to our surroundings, blending themes of self-discovery with observations of human connection.
