Dylan Anthony Roworth (b. 1990, St. Catharines, Ontario) is a Toronto-based artist known for his evocative oil paintings that blend personal narrative with the mythos of the American West. A graduate of Sheridan College and OCAD University, his work explores themes of loneliness, identity, and romanticism through the recurring figure of the cowboy.
Inspired by his upbringing as the son of a truck-driving father and the absence of his Native American mother, Roworth navigates complex themes of belonging and loss. His art draws on Greek mythology, country music humor, and the symbolism of the Pre-Raphaelites, reimagining Western tropes to reflect his personal journey.
Roworth's achievements include winning the Kenwood Design Competition and completing commercial projects for hotels worldwide. Recently featured in Architectural Digest, he continues to explore identity and memory through his compelling pastoral scenes.
