Michael Polakowski was born in 1994 in Dearborn, Michigan, and received his BFA from the College for Creative Studies in 2017. Shortly after graduating, he co-founded Gold Top, a studio space in Detroit. Polakowski has exhibited his work both nationally and internationally in a range of solo and group exhibitions. In addition to his studio practice, he is also an active muralist and serves as an educator at the College for Creative Studies in Detroit.
