Larissa Laban (b. 1996, Cabo Frio, Brazil) is a Brazilian visual artist and designer based in São Paulo. Working across airbrush, oil painting, and ceramics, she creates textured, energetically rendered figures situated within pared-back, suspended environments. Her practice explores liminal worlds shaped by kitsch objects and uncanny forms, where figures adapt to solitude within closed systems.
Through a palette of deep, resonant tones and a careful balance of softness and density, Laban's work navigates the tension between presence and absence.
