Gaëthan Henrioux was born in Nîmes, France in 1984. Working primarily in acrylics, his paintings merge figuration and abstraction into a warm, twilight-inflected visual language — glowing palettes that feel both classical and immediately contemporary.
Henrioux draws from Impressionist precedents — Monet, Renoir, Van Gogh — reinterpreting their sensibility through a lens shaped by social media and consumer culture. His work carries a subtle erotic tension, drawing viewers into intimate, voyeuristic scenes where concealment becomes its own form of invitation.
He holds a degree from the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Appliqués and participated in the Salon de Montrouge in 2013.
