"I studied Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Heritage at UPV in my hometown, finishing my final year at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Naples. After working at IVAM and then Christie's Madrid, I decided to open my own studio and become a full-time artist. Almost all of my work is inspired by images or objects I find beautiful - things I think could look even cooler on canvas. The black-and-white style brings a timeless quality, a sense of harmony that feels classical. I've always been drawn to classic aesthetics - not just in painting, but in sculpture, architecture, and car design."
Ricardo Rodriguez Cosme's first major moment in the art world came in 2017, with an exhibition in Milan at Riccardo Pozzoli's #RPcave - an experience that gave him the confidence to trust his work and open his own creative studio. Since 2018, he has worked with F1 Authentics, showing his hyper-realist, F1-inspired paintings at the Paddock Club, with his work travelling globally throughout the annual F1 season. Alongside his presence in the world of Formula 1, he is represented by Wanrooij Gallery in Amsterdam.
