Gaëtan Henrioux (b. 1984, Nîmes) is a French artist living and working between Paris and the South of France. A graduate of the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Appliqués, he fuses figuration and abstraction in a warm, dusky visual language that bridges art history and pop culture. Selected for the Salon de Montrouge in 2013, he reinterprets Impressionist influences - Monet, Matisse, Van Gogh - through a contemporary lens, often charging his intimate, voyeuristic scenes with a subtle erotic tension.
