Austin Santangelo (b. 1996, Michigan) is an American photographer based in Los Angeles, working between portraiture and fine-art imagery. Drawn to the quiet space between gesture and stillness, his images favor presence over performance, primarily shot on film for its physicality and unpredictability. After an early period of recognition followed by time away from the medium, he returned with a sharper sense of restraint, centering his work on familiar environments and atmosphere-driven scenes where light does most of the talking. Alongside his photography, he works on creative and entrepreneurial projects at the intersection of art, design, and storytelling.
