ALLGORITHIM Presents Future Vintage, a Solo Exhibition by Diego Uchitel

Los Angeles, CA — ALLGORITHIM is pleased to present Future Vintage, the newest solo exhibition by photographer Diego Uchitel. The show exhibits never-before-seen photographs taken by the artist over more than twenty years, presenting a body of work that functions as a time capsule for the viewer. Each subject captured brings their own story to Uchitel's depiction, with individuals including River Phoenix, Penelope Cruz, Quentin Tarantino, and many other fascinating figures.
Born in Buenos Aires, Diego Uchitel began his photographic practice young, taking documentary photographs of hospitalized patients under his father's care. After high school, he moved to the United States, first settling in Los Angeles, where he attended UCLA film school. It was there he discovered that his true passion lay in photography rather than film, and began experimenting with light to bring images exploring the human form and a range of emotional themes to life. The resulting images — painterly, emotive, and romantic — established the elegantly arresting signature style that now defines his work.
Over the past twenty years, Uchitel has photographed some of the world's most captivating subjects, including Penelope Cruz, Charlize Theron, Diane Kruger, Julianne Moore, Christian Bale, Hilary Swank, Halle Berry, Quentin Tarantino, David Bowie, Lou Reed, Sarah Jessica Parker, Sofia Coppola, Heidi Klum, Mary-Louise Parker, Jerry Seinfeld, Shakira, Sting, Jennifer Lopez, Jessica Alba, Claire Danes, Zooey Deschanel, Kristen Bell, Olivia Wilde, Leslie Mann, Mike Vogel, John Travolta, Terrence Howard, Rose Byrne, Kerry Washington, Jason Schwartzman, Evan Rachel Wood, Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Don Cheadle, Sam Taylor-Wood, Ahn Duong, Donna Karan, Wynton Marsalis, Richard Gere, Teresa Palmer, Bette Midler, and Diane von Furstenberg.
His work has been featured in Rolling Stone, W Magazine, Vanity Fair, Harper's Bazaar, German and Spanish Vogue, Vogue Hommes, Elle Magazine, The New York Times Sunday Magazine, D, Surface, Premiere, Citizen K, and Monrowe Magazine.
