Scrawl: Zale Funston

ALLGORITHIM is pleased to present Scrawl, a new online exhibition launching exclusively on Artsy. The exhibition features six black-and-white ink drawings by Zale Fuston (b. 2001), a Philadelphia-born, Miami-based artist whose work explores the body as a site of memory, desire, and emotional escape.

In Scrawl, Fuston reduces her visual language to its most essential elements-ink, gesture, and immediacy. Stripped of color and narrative framing, the drawings foreground the urgency of her mark-making.
