In Time, In Place, In Season is an online exhibition of new paintings by Charlie Haydn Taylor, presented exclusively through Artsy. Five works continue the artist's investigation of the modern interior — rooms held under artificial light, furniture arranged like theater, the city pressing indifferently against the glass. Working at the intersection of painting and digital collage, Haydn Taylor layers flat block color against photographic realism to produce images that feel at once familiar and subtly wrong.
