Los Angeles — ALLGORITHIM is pleased to present There's Only So Many Hours In A Night, an exhibition of new paintings by Connor Meager. This is the artist's second solo exhibition with the gallery, following his debut at the original Melrose Avenue location in 2022. The exhibition is on view from August 10 through October 10, 2026, at Galerie's The Newsstand.

Meager works in stippling and pointillism, a method that resists speed. Each painting is assembled from individual marks laid down with dripsticks and spray paint, with shipping labels worked into the surface as both material and interruption. Nothing is arrived at in a single gesture. The image emerges only once enough marks have accumulated to make it, and the labor that produces it remains visible in the finished work.

The paintings ask to be read twice. Up close, the surface is a field of discrete points and torn paper edges — the record of a hand moving across a support over many hours. At distance, those parts resolve. The exhibition's title names the condition under which the work was made: a practice paced by the time available for it, and a body of paintings that carries the count of those hours on its face.

Layered brings together seventeen artists whose practices share a common formal and philosophical proposition: that meaning accumulates. Across painting and mixed media, the exhibition takes as its premise the act of layering itself — not as technique alone, but as a way of thinking. Of identity formed through sediment. Of color and mark arriving on a surface already weighted with intention. Works by Thomas Stokes III, Vincent Lantzy, Connor Meager, Zoë Renait, Jess Kellner, Samuel Elliot Phillips, Piper Olivas, Katarina Holbrough, Dylan Anthony Roworth, Sarah Savior, Gaëthan Henrioux, Adam Brierley, Ricardo Rodriguez, Austin Santangelo, Deb Santangelo, Brad Johns, Fiona Aagaard, and Preston Douglas Boyer.

Collaged, a group exhibition exploring the layered, fragmented, and reassembled nature of image-making. Featuring twelve artists across mediums, the show transforms ALLGORITHIM House into a living archive of intimacy, reflection, and creative coexistence.

RISE presented by ALLGORITHIM will bring 23 visual artists together in a one night glorious showcase. The exhibition will present new works from past participants Kai Cranmore & Conner Meager, who both have continued to develop their signature style over the past year. Artists Pierce Goodwin, Trevor Zank, DOT, & Armando Franco reveal their interpretations of the Abstract through the use of shapes, figures, and color. Tyler Santangelo, Vincent Lantzy, and LALO express their viewpoint of the subjects studied in a striking manner. All artists included on the roster will be exhibiting multiple works.

Conner Meager collection of paintings and artworks translate his subjects into abstract depictions of various natures. The exhibition included spot-portraits of friends & celebrities, collage works with a religious undertone, and a deep dive into the abstract.
