  • Statement on the Los Angeles Fires

    Our Heart is with you

Los Angeles is our home. It is the city that inspires us, shelters us, and provides the raw beauty-both rugged and refined-that fuels the work we champion. Today, our hearts are heavy as we watch the devastation unfold from the wildfires that continue to tear through our communities. The images of smoke-choked skies, scorched landscapes, and families forced to flee their homes are a painful reminder of both nature's power and our city's fragility.

To all those affected-whether you are an artist, a friend, a collector, or simply someone who calls this city home-please know that our thoughts are with you. We stand with the firefighters, first responders, and volunteers risking their lives to protect what can be saved. We acknowledge the deep loss being felt, not only of homes and personal belongings but of histories, memories, and spaces that once held dreams and creative expression.

Los Angeles has always been a city of reinvention, a place where destruction and renewal coexist. It is this resilience, this ability to create from the ashes, that defines us. We believe in the strength of our community, in the artists who will process this tragedy through their work, in the builders who will restore what has been lost, and in the collective spirit that will help those most in need.

ALLGORITHIM will be donating a portion of proceeds from a future to be announced exhibition to relief efforts and encourages everyone in our community to do what they can-whether that means donating, volunteering, or simply checking in on those affected. Art is often the last thing on people's minds in moments of crisis, but it is also what helps us process, heal, and move forward.

To the city we love, to the people who make it what it is, we stand with you. If you are in need of resources or assistance, please reach out, and we will do our best to connect you with support.

Stay safe. Stay strong. We will rebuild.
